BÖNDBREAKR addresses climate change, government corruption, and reproductive rights with their single 'Progress and Change'.

"My inspiration comes from the world around me which is literally overheating due to the reckless abuses of Earth's resources," said vocalist and lyricist Gerilyn Hayes-McCloskey, better known as Hurricane G.

"Activists Daisy Salinas (Muchacha Fanzine) and the late feminist warrior poet Audre Lorde have given me the knowledge necessary to address a variety of societal maladies, with the most pressing ones being climate change and bodily autonomy. Neither can be ignored, yet both are poorly managed by corrupt domestic and international government entities."

The single is a rallying cry that comes ahead of their second studio-recorded EP titled 'EXILE' which will be released by legendary underground punk label Grimace Records on August 25, 2023.
